The UK Competition and Markets Authority has made its recommendations for a UK-specific Technology Transfer Block Exemption Order to replace the assimilated EU Technology Transfer Block Exemption Regulation, which expires in April 2026. The Order contains some key amendments from the Regulation that are important for businesses operating in the UK and cross borders to understand.
