The UK Government has published an interim progress report on its consideration of copyright and AI, as required by the Data (Use and Access) Act. The report discusses the results of the Government's consultation, confirming there is overwhelming opposition, at least amongst the creative industries, to proposals to introduce a text and data mining exception.
