The University of Belgrade Faculty of Law hosted the XVIII Belgrade Open Pre-Moot from March 20 to 22, one of the most prestigious preparatory competitions in international commercial arbitration. This year, the event brought together 56 teams from 25 countries and over 280 arbitrators, confirming its significance as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices in the field of arbitration.
PR Legal had the honor of being one of the proud sponsors of this event, providing support to young lawyers and contributing to the advancement of arbitration practice. The sponsorship reflects the firm’s long-standing commitment to developing professional capacities and educating future generations of legal professionals.
We are especially proud that our colleague, Milena Đukić, participated as an arbitrator, contributing to the quality of the competition and the professional exchange of knowledge among participants. Her involvement further highlights the expertise and dedication of the PR Legal team in the field of international arbitration.
During the pre-moot, a total of 166 hearings were conducted, along with two accompanying conference events and a rich social program, which allowed participants from different countries to exchange experiences informally and network. Participants had the opportunity to enhance their arbitration skills through practical simulations, while arbitrators provided constructive feedback and professional guidance.
The pre-moot served as preparation for the 33rd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, held from March 27 to April 2, 2026, in Vienna.
