Bell Nunnally Jams Out at Law Rocks Dallas to Benefit Head Start, Featured on D Magazine

Bell Nunnally gestating musical super group, “Ring the Bell Nunnally” was featured in the D Magazine article “North Texas Lawyers Jam for a Cause Through Law Rocks Dallas” following its performance on March 7 in Deep Ellum as part of “Law Rocks” – a nationwide nonprofit organization that aims to promote music education for underprivileged youth and raise funds for local nonprofit organizations through “epic battle of the band fundraising concerts in cities across the globe that star legal professionals-turned-rockstars.”

“Ring the Bell Nunnally” is comprised of partners Spencer C. Diebel and Benjamin L. Riemer, as well as Of Counsel John R.W. Fugitt.

The article notes, “Riemer is no stranger to performing; he is active in the band Rowdy Dowdy and can be found on Spotify under his full name, Ben Ledbetter Riemer. Between filing briefs in his legal firm, he made a name for himself covering Stevie Ray Vaughan and continues to play shows in Dallas when he has time.”

“Ring the Bell Nunnally’s” performance, benefitting Head Start of Greater Dallas, featured an eclectic playlist with everything from Led Zeppelin and Nirvana to Fleetwood Mac and Shaboozey.

As for the band’s name, Riemer says its origin was surprisingly un-lawyer like, “We wanted to have the firm name in there, and it rolled right out. Unlike most things at a law firm, I don’t think we had a committee.”

2025 was the second time Bell Nunnally and Riemer have taken the stage at Law Rocks Dallas, a decision that came after much encouragement and cajoling, “I’m really glad I did, because it’s a lot of fun. It was a great venue, a nice built-in crowd, and a well-organized event.”
