Upcoming Webinar by Legalink’s Fintech Group: 2025 – The Great U.S. Crypto Reset

Legalink is pleased to announce to its first Fintech webinar. This 90-minute session will explore the evolving landscape of U.S. crypto regulation and its global implications, with a special focus on the recent wave of legislative and agency actions shaping the future of digital assets.

A key focus of the webinar will be the proposed establishment of a national bitcoin reserve, designed to enhance cryptocurrency legitimacy and stability. The session will examine crucial updates from major regulatory bodies, including the CFTC and SEC, as they continue to refine their oversight roles in the evolving crypto space.

Our speakers will also discuss the groundbreaking U.S. market structure bill, which aims to create a comprehensive framework for digital asset regulation. This represents a significant shift from the current enforcement-based approach toward a more structured regulatory environment.

The session will highlight significant developments in stablecoin regulation, including the bipartisan GENIUS Act and STABLE Act. These legislative initiatives propose federal charters for payment stablecoin issuers and establish strict requirements for reserves and redemption processes.

Our speakers will address how various regulatory bodies, including the OCC, Federal Reserve, and FDIC, are implementing prudential safeguards for cryptocurrency operations. State-level regulations, such as New York's updated Stablecoin Guidance and California's Digital Financial Assets Law, will also be discussed.

With the global cryptocurrency market expected to grow by nearly $40 billion between 2025 and 2029, and the U.S. leading in crypto exchange market gains, this webinar presents an invaluable opportunity for professionals to understand the future of cryptocurrency regulation and its implications for the global financial landscape.
