Benoit specializes in corporate law, with a focus on acquisitions, restructurings, and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). With two decades of experience, he advises national and international clients through all stages of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), from due diligence to contract negotiations and post-completion follow-up. His expertise spans both share and asset deals.
Since 2007, Benoit has played a key role in major PPPs in Flanders, assisting with contract analysis, risk assessments, tenders, and stakeholder negotiations. His in-depth knowledge of development-related PPP aspects allows him to effectively navigate the interests of governments, contractors, and financiers.
Benoit earned his law degree from Ghent University in 2000, followed by an LL.M. in International Commercial Law and Arbitration from Queen Mary University of London, and an MBA from Solvay Business School. He began his career at Coudert Brothers (now Dechert LLP), later joining NautaDutilh and Monard Law. Benoit regularly contributes to legal publications on corporate and PPP law.
