Enrique De Marchena Kaluche

Enrique De Marchena Kaluche is the managing partner of the firm. His practice is focused on foreign investment, corporate and business law, real estate, and tourism, and government relations.

He is highly regarded for his expertise in real estate and tourism matters while developing a strong position in the corporate sector and is considered an excellent strategist capable of giving 100%.

He has been recognized by international legal directories, Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 for 14 consecutive years, in Corporate & Commercial, Real Estate & Tourism and Environment. He is the only Dominican lawyer recognized in Band 1 by Chambers & Partners Latin America in the Real Estate & Tourism area.

He was Dean of the Consular Corps accredited in the Dominican Republic (2017-2019). Honorary Consul of Jamaica in the Dominican Republic since 1994. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (ASONAHORES) since 1998, an institution of which he was President from 2004 to 2006, and an honorary professor of the Faculty of Hotel Administration of the Universidad Central del Este (UCE) since 2009.

He was president of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association – CHTA (2010-2012) and other distinguished associations in the country.

He is an active member of the Dominican Republic Bar Association, the Inter-American Bar Association (ITBA), and the American Bar Association (ABA).
